A Brave New World...
Something about the book which I really connected with was the way the Society was mimicking insect colonies. Each person is born with a role, everybody has a place. Not only that but embryos are condition to become a certain caste of person, Alpha; beta; delta; gamma and epsilon. Much like in a bee colony where Bees are born with a specific role, each drone has a certain task within the hive. I could ramble on about all the similarities but I'd rather leave it at that.
Chapter 1.
"community, Identity, Stability"
"Lenina and Henry were yet dancing in another world - the warm, richly coloured, the infinitely friendly world of soma-holiday"
"one of them bent down, took a stone, threw it. 'Go, go, go!' There was a shower of stones.
And finally my cover design is intended to solidify the insect theme with a strong distinctive graphic style. The white bee is to signify both the characters of Bernard and John.
